Personal Autonomy Promotion Services
Personal autonomy promotion services are preventive and rehabilitative programmes designed to strengthen the independence of people with reduced abilities.
Their purpose is to promote users’ ability to make decisions and maintain control over their own lives, helping them recover or preserve daily living skills.
These services may include, for example, occupational therapy workshops, cognitive stimulation programmes, functional rehabilitation, and psychosocial support.
Their main objective is to encourage independence and decision-making among people with dependency needs, covering areas such as physical rehabilitation, mental stimulation, and occupational habilitation.
In this way, dependency can be delayed, while enabling the person to participate more actively in their environment.
